Inter - Regional Survey

Request for feedback on the format of selection of players for regions for the Inter regionals

Within the executive we have had some discussions about the format of inter regionals this year and there are two proposed ideas about how we should determine who should play for each regions. The first option is to stay with the system that has previously been used where people play for the region that their club is based in. The second option is we switch to a system where you play for the region in which you live, though in order to make the competition more balanced it is proposed that certain counties are moved between regions (purely for the purposes of the inter regionals competition).

In order to show you how the regions would look and how the numbers would compare for each region under each system, we have pulled together the following facts and figures of the two proposed systems and also the reasons that have been drafted for the change to a system based on where you live. We welcome your feedback on these proposals and also whether you intend to play at inter regionals and so in order to allow you to express these views we have built two polls on which you can vote (see link below). Any comments you have, both good and bad about either of the proposed formats, can be expressed to the UKPA secretary Jeff parr of secretary@ukpolocrosse.co.uk . We really need your feedback and comments in order to determine how to progress this competition so please vote on the polls and send in any comments you have.
