Polocrosse is a recognised pony club discipline and is brilliant sport for pony clubs. Pony club members love playing it and it is something different for both the riders and the horses to do. It helps improve the schooling of the horses and the balance and flexibility of the riders. It is also a very socialable sport so pony club members can be assured they will make many new friends amongst the polocrosse community.
The UKPA works very closely with the Pony Club's own polocrosse committee to help grow and develop the sport. Both the UKPA and the Pony Club can help clubs source equipment and arrange coaches to deliver introductory sessions to interested pony clubs.
The UKPA has created a dedicated document to explain more about the sport and the benefits in can bring to your pony club - click here to read it.
The UKPA is also presently running a subisidised starter kit offer whereby you can purchase starter kit of polocrosse at a reduced price for your pony club. Click here to read the details of this offer and find out how you can take it up. The Pony Club also does this offers exclusively for pony clubs. the Pony Club Polocrosse site is http://www.pcuk.org/Disciplines/Polocrosse/
