If you are a group of
riders interested in polocrosse then you are probably
similar to an interested riding club. The
UKPA see riding clubs a natural way of growing the
sport of polocrosse as it is a team sport and so an
already established group of riders is a perfect place
to set up a new club. The
same is true for any group of riders.
Polocrosse is a brilliant
sport for people to take up as it is something different
for both the riders and the horses to do and helps
improve the schooling of the horses and the balance
and flexibility of the riders. It is also a very socialable
sport so you can be assured that you will make many
new friends amongst the polocrosse community.
The
UKPA can help groups source equipment and arrange
coaches to deliver introductory sessions to interested
groups. The UKPA wants to work with people throughout
the country to the benefit of both the people and
the sport itself.
The UKPA has created
a dedicated document to explain more about the sport
and the benefits in can bring to a riding club - click
here to read it.
The UKPA is also presently
running a subisidised starter kit offer whereby you
can purchase starter kit of polocrosse at a reduced
price for your group. Click
here to read the details of this offer and find
out how you can take it up.
If you
